Keith Ogden is in his first season as an assistant coach with the York College track and field program. Ogden will be working primarily with the sprinters.
Already in his first indoor season with the Green and White, Ogden helped guide the men’s sprinters to new school records in the 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay, 200m and 500m
As a collegiate athlete at Millersville University, Ogden competed in all sprinting events, both indoor and outdoor. He was an NCAA provisional qualifier in 2011 and 2012 and was selected to the Division II All-Atlantic Region Team in 2011 for the 400m hurdles. Ogden was part of four relay teams that set school records at Millersville that included the indoor 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays, in addition to the outdoor 4x200 and 4x100 meter relays. He also set the school record for the indoor 200m at a time of 22.50.
Before arriving at York, Ogden had a brief coaching stint at Abington Senior High School where he his primary role was coaching the girl’s sprints and hurdles.
Ogden graduated from Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic communication with a minor in athletic coaching.
