Matt Rosenkrantz Named the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
YORK, PA - York College men's tennis player Matt Rosenkrantz (Longmeadow, Mass./Longmeadow) has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
Rosenkrantz went a perfect 5-0 in singles play during the Spartans trip to Hilton Head, SC. Rosenkratz went 4-0 in the fourth singles slot and 1-0 in the third singles flight. He won all of his matches in straight set and surrendered a total of just 12 games all week including a 6-0, 6-0 win over St. Louis Pharmacy's Matt Respicio.
In doubles play, Rosenkrantz went 3-2 when teaming with Jake Greenstein (Morris Plains, N.J./Parsippany Hills) in the second doubles slot. The duo lost their first two in the trip and then ran off three straight wins.
For the season, Rosenkrantz is 7-2 in singles play and 5-4 in doubles play.
Rosenkrantz is a marketing major and is the son of Steven and Diane Rosenkrantz.
