Mowrer and Jones Selected to the 2009 All-CAC Squad
Senior men's tennis player Tim Mowrer and sophomore Colin Jones have each been chosen to represent York College on the All-Capital Athletic Conference team this season. Mowrer appears on the squad for the third time while Jones receives his first bid.

The York College men's tennis team saw their six match win streak and their 2009 campaign come to a close as the Salisbury University Sea Gulls defeated the Spartans 9-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference quarterfinals on Monday.

Spartans Cruise Past St. Mary's in CAC Tournament
The York College men's tennis team remained hot as they picked up a 9-0 victory over St. Mary's College in the opening round of the 2009 Capital Athletic Conference Tournament. The Spartans have won six straight as they are now 10-7.

The York College men's tennis team ended their 2009 regular season with their fifth straight win, a 9-0 decision over St. Mary's College in a Capital Athletic Conference match in St. Mary's City, MD. The Spartans end the regular season with a mark of 9-7 and 4-2 in the conference.

Mowrer Named CAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week
Senior Tim Mowrer has been selected as this week’s Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week. Mowrer, who led York to a 2-0 week, put together a strong 3-0 personal mark including 2-0 in singles play.

The York College men's tennis team finally reached the .500 mark as they won their third straight with a 9-0 Capital Athletic Conference win over Hood College on Tuesday afternoon in York. The Spartans improve to 7-7 overall and 2-2 in the CAC.

The York College men’s tennis team picked up their sixth win of the season on Thursday with a 9-0 sweep of Goucher. The triumph pushes the Spartans’ 2009 record to 6-7 while the Gophers drop to 1-6.

York College junior Steve Collison has been selected as one of two Co-Capital Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week for men's tennis. Collison collected a 2-2 singles record over four matches last week.

The York College men’s tennis squad took their first Capital Athletic Conference match of 2009 with a clean sweep 9-0 victory over Stevenson University Tuesday afternoon. The visiting Spartans up their season mark to an even 3-3 (1-0 CAC) while the Mustangs drop their first match of the spring and fall to 0-1 (0-1 CAC).

York College men’s tennis player Travis Klein was chosen as a Capital Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week for the first week of March. Klein posted a 4-1 mark over the Spartans' first five contests of the year.
