YORK, PA – The York College men's swim squad split a pair of decisions at Saturday's Tri-Meet in York. The Spartans defeated St. Mary's 148-53 in a Capital Athletic Conference match while Ursinus upended York 109-93.

Freshman Keven Stahl was at it again as he set four new records in the meet … Stahl broke the school and pool record in both the 1,000 freestyle and the 500 freestyle … Stahl now has five first place finishes in his two meets for the year … Stahl owns the top time in the CAC in the 1000 free, owning the mark by over 40 seconds … Stahl also owns the best time in the 500 in the CAC by over 14 seconds and in the 100 (48.17) by .30 seconds … senior Morgan Schreiber set the top time in the CAC in the 200 backstroke during the meet while freshman Kaelan Dowdall has the second followed by Drew Newman in third (2:02.79) … Schreiber also set the top time in the 100 backstroke (54.10) … the 400 free relay team of Stahl, Mitchell LaBenski, Nick Foltz, and Jacob McConnell own the top time in the event in the CAC while they also bested the Spartan pool record in the event … the winning 400 medley relay squad of Schreiber, Glaucio Silva, Tate, and Jacob McConnell own the top time in the CAC in the event at 3:35.92.
The Spartans return to action on Saturday when they host Washington & Jefferson in a non-conference contest. The meet, the final home meet of the fall semester, kicks off at 1:00 pm from the York College Natatorium.
