Jim Mustard just finished his fifth season as York’s goalkeeper coach. Mustard has made a huge impact in on the program during his tenure on the Spartan bench.

Under his tutelage, Spartan netminders only allowed three goals during the 2008 campaign, one of the best marks in Division III history, while nabbing 17 total shutouts. In 2009, York's goalkeepers sported an outstanding goals against average of 0.50 while totaling six shutouts.

During his time with the Spartans, Mustard's charges have allowed just 60 goals in 111 games covering 10,407:49 of game action, good for a goals against average of 0.52. The Spartans have notched 66 shutouts during those 111 games. 

In addition to his coaching duties with the Spartan squad, Mustard serves as the Athletic Director at nearby York Country Day School while he is also the head girls goalkeeper coach for the Maryland Olympic Development program and the head goalkeeping coach for FC York. Prior to serving with the Green and White, Mustard was the Millersville University goalkeeper coach. Mustard also holds a USSF "B" coaching licesne and NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma.

Mustard played collegiately at the University of Virginia and UMBC, both Division I programs.
