Title: Asst. Men's Soccer Coach

Chris Hoover begins his third year on the York College men's soccer coaching staff.  Coach Hoover comes to the Spartans after a long career as the head coach at Fallston High School in Fallston, Maryland, where he coached boy’s soccer from 2001-2013.

Hoover brings with him a passion for winning and developing players. He coached the Cougar boy’s soccer team to a 161-46-9 record for 12 years with a .766 winning percentage. He coached his team to four Maryland State Finalist runs and earned four Regional championships. He has helped coach 15 All-State players, 57 1st Team All-Conference players, and helped guide 84 players into the collegiate ranks.

Hoover has experience coaching at the collegiate level where he served as a volunteer assistant coach at Johns Hopkins University from 1996 to 1998. His connections throughout Maryland will help him with recruiting the best to come to York and his strong educational background will be crucial to continue the Spartan player development.
