Andrew Marshall enters his first year as an assistant coach on Mark Ludwig’s staff. Marshall brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Spartan squad.
Marshall was a two-year letter winner at Division I Towson University before embarking on a four-year professional career. He started his professional journey by playing for the Crystal Palace Baltimore Pro Soccer club in 2007. He remained there through 2010 before catching on with the Norfolk Sharx Pro Indoor squad in December of 2011. Marshall then joined the Harrisburg City Islanders in March of 2011. He still plays for both the Sharx and the City Islanders.
Marshall’s coaching career includes a collegiate stop at Goucher College where he was responsible for all aspect of the Gophers’ Division III program. He has also had various experience coaching youth and club teams. He has had tenures at Mechanicsburg Soccer Club, Central Dauphin East High School, and the Lower Dauphin Soccer Association.
Marshall is currently working towards his US Soccer “B” coaching license while he is also trained in sport specific strength and conditioning.
