The Spartans return to the road for a pair of non-conference contests including a trip to Messiah on September 26. That contest is always a highlight to the York schedule and this year's edition will be contested under the lights in Grantham.
The Green and White returns to Graham Field to face Salisbury in a big conference match on Saturday, September 29 at 2:00 pm. The Spartans defeated the Gulls in the conference championship game last year in Salisbury to earn the NCAA Tournament bid.
After a trip up Route 83 to face Penn State-Harrisburg, the Spartans play consecutive home games against Marymount and Gettysburg on October 6 and 10. York heads to St. Mary's for a tough conference match on October 13 before returning home to face Frostburg State in a mid-week conference contest.
The Spartans close out their regular season road schedule on October 20 at Mary Washington before finishing the campaign at home against Manhattanville on October 24.
The CAC Tournament begins on October 28 with first round action followed by the conference semifinals on October 31. The conference championship match will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
Three 2012 Spartan opponents (Messiah, Neumann, and Christopher Newport) finished the season ranked in the NSCAA Top 25. Five other opponents finished last year regionally ranked.
Spartan head coach Mark Ludwig is starting his 14th season at the helm of the Spartans. He has led the Green and White to a sterling mark of 199-63-25 during his tenure as he approaches the 200-win milestone.
