Tyler Hutson Named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week

YORK, PA - York College junior attack Tyler Hutson (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by conference office on Monday afternoon.

Tyler Hutson led the nationally ranked York College Spartans to a 2-0 as the Green and White has now won five straight after an opening season loss at defending national champion Stevenson. Hutson began the week with six points on three goals and three assists in the 9-5 mid-week win at Scranton. With his second goal, Hutson became York's all-time goal scoring leader, passing Josh Gamble for the with 122 career goals. He also grabbed three ground balls in the victory over the Royals.

In the 13-4 win over Haverford, Hutson poured in a game-high four goals as the Spartans avenged one of their four losses from 2013. Hutson also added two ground balls in the win.

For the week, Hutson had seven goals and three assists for ten points in the two wins.
