Chad Styer begins his first year on head coach Matt Hunter's staff after finishing his playing career last winter.
Styer concluded his career in 2013-14 for the Spartans. He finished his senior year averaging 5.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Styer played in all 26 games as he averaged 22.6 mintues per game. He was one of York's top three-point shooters as he converted 39.8% from three, making 39-of-98 from distance. He also handed out 34 assists and grabbed 13 steals.
Styer notched career highs of 15 points at Wesley, six rebounds at PSU Harrisburg and five assists versus Oneonta State. He was limited to 54 career games by a number of leg injuries after playing 18 games as a freshman. He was limited to ten games during his sophomore and junior campaigns.
Styer will assist the program in all aspects from practice, scouting, recruiting and game day duties.
