YORK, PA - Hurricane Sandy has forced the Capital Athletic Conference to make changes to the 2012 fall sports post season tournament schedules. Three Spartan teams are affected by the change in schedule.
The Spartans' women's soccer CAC Tournament semifinal game scheduled for Tuesday at Frostburg has been pushed back to Thursday, November 1 at 4:00 pm. The winner of that game will play in the championship game at the site of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, November 3.
The Spartan men's soccer team will play their CAC Touranment semifinal game on Thursday, November 1 at approximately 6:30 at Frostburg. The men's game follows the women's game in Frostburg, MD. The game was orginally scheduled for Wednesday but also got pushed back because of the storm. The men's CAC Championship game will be held on Saturday, November 3 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
The CAC volleyball tournament schedule has been completely revamped because of the storm. The touranment's first round games will now be held on Thursday, November 1. That round includes the Spartans traveling to the St. Mary's College Seahawks in a 7:00 pm. The tournament semifinals will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 pm on campus sites followed by the championship game on Sunday, November 4 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
