    The York College field hockey program had five players honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as they were named members of the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad as announced by the national office on Wednesday.

    Three York College Spartan field hockey players were selected to the 2013 All-Capital Athletic Conference squads as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Seniors Kailey Brewer and Jillian Brezgel and junior Katie Petrillo each earned second team all-league honors for their efforts.

In both teams’ first games of the season, Catherine Pricone netted all five tallies for the guests as they produced a furious come-from-behind effort to nip the Green and White.
